The station building now hums with creative energy thanks to the amazing artists who’ve made it their home. From painters to ceramicists, illustrators to textile designers — each resident brings something unique to the space.
Take Anna, who creates lino prints inspired by the surrounding landscape. Or Malik, whose colourful abstract canvases brighten the old waiting room. There’s also Fiona, who runs accessible art workshops for young people and adults alike.
The studios offer affordable, secure space — but more than that, they provide a sense of community among creatives. Artists collaborate, swap ideas, share materials, and sometimes just pause for tea and a chat.
Over the coming months, we’ll be profiling each of our studio residents. Stay tuned to learn more about the people bringing colour, texture and imagination to the station every day.
