The building is generally open from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday. Studio users with keys have 24/7 access.

Yes, the main areas of the building are wheelchair accessible. If you have specific access needs, please contact us in advance so we can assist.

There is limited on-site parking, but public parking is available nearby. We encourage walking, cycling, or public transport when possible.

Yes, free high-speed WiFi is available throughout the building and included with all bookings.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome in most areas of the building, but we ask that they are kept on a lead and cleaned up after.

Yes, the building is fully heated and comfortable year-round.
Anyone over the age of 16 is welcome to volunteer. We encourage people from all backgrounds to get involved, whether you have a few hours a month or more regular time to give.
We have a wide range of opportunities, including helping with community events, supporting artists in the studios, welcoming visitors, maintaining the building, and assisting with admin and outreach.
No experience is required — just enthusiasm and a willingness to help. If a role needs specific skills, we’ll provide guidance and training.
It’s flexible. Some volunteers join us for a few hours a month, while others help weekly. You can choose a schedule that works for you.
Absolutely! We welcome friends, families, and community groups who’d like to volunteer together.
Yes. We’ll provide an induction and any training you need for your chosen role. You’ll always have a point of contact for support.

  • Please leave shared areas (kitchen, toilets, corridors) clean and tidy after use.

  • Noise should be kept at a reasonable level, especially during working hours.

  • Be mindful of other users and any scheduled events taking place.

  • Regular studio users will be issued access keys/fobs — do not share these with others.

  • Always ensure doors are securely closed behind you, especially outside of public hours.

  • Report any issues with security or maintenance to the building manager promptly.

  • Community space and hot desks must be booked in advance.

  • Cancellations should be made with at least 24 hours’ notice where possible.

  • Please stick to your booked times so others can access the space as scheduled.

  • This is an inclusive space open to all — discrimination, harassment, or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.

  • Treat fellow users, staff, and the building itself with courtesy and care.

  • Studios are for creative or professional use only — residential use is not permitted.

  • Users are responsible for the upkeep of their space and removal of waste.

  • Any alterations to the space must be approved in advance.
